Main Lodge…

Aylmer Lake Lodge is ideally located on a peninsula in Rocknest Bay with the main lodge and cabins situated on a small ridge, which affords a panoramic view of the surrounding tundra and Bay.  Guests are able to enjoy this scenery either from the cabin porch or from our recently renovated dining facility.  In 2001, we enlarged the main lodge to offer a spacious dining room with huge picture windows from which to enjoy the view.

The main lodge is designed for the comfort of our customers. This is the hub of the operation with the kitchen & dining area housed here.  An oil stove is available to take the chill off in the cool mornings.  An out-of-the-way generator supplies electricity & lighting for the main lodge and cabins.  A full breakfast and dinner is served daily in the lodge dining room and our guests have the choice of a shore lunch or packed lunch.  Three shower rooms with plenty of hot water are situated in the main lodge and are available anytime.  Located in the main lodge is our supplies store where you may purchase a variety of provisions, including fishing licenses, tackle, pop, beer, and logo clothing apparel.  The lodge is open to guests at any time for a late night card game or to swap stories about that trophy fish.

Corporate Retreat…
We welcome the opportunity to host corporate groups looking for a secluded place to combine business with outdoor recreation in these unique and beautiful surroundings.  If your business has the right blend of professionals who savor the outdoors and getting away, a corporate fishing adventure or retreat, team-building event, or customer appreciation trip will make the ideal reward for your hardworking colleagues.  Our professional staff will prepare a customized package to meet your individual corporate needs.  Imagine being able to unwind bygoing fishing, boating, wildlife viewing, photographing nature, tundra walking, or just strolling along the shore after a day of meetings.  For those needing to stay in contact with their business, we have satellite telephone service and email capability.  Audiovisual and copying assistance is available upon request.

Guest Cabins…
Guests will be comfortably accommodated in individual cabins with a maximum sleeping capacity of four.  Each cabin is equipped with lights, oil heat, hanging hooks, and a small table & chairs.  Foam pads with roomy rectangular sleeping bags and pillows are part of the four bunked beds in each cabin.

Our 16-foot Lund or Crestliner boats are equipped with 25 H.P. Mercury motors, depth finders, swivel seats, cradle landing nets, and floatation vests.

We have an on-site floatplane for added safety in the event of emergencies, or should you wish to fly-out (at an extra fee if plane is available) to remote locations to fish or sightsee.
