Main Lodge
Aylmer Lake Lodge is ideally located on a peninsula
in Rocknest Bay with the main lodge and cabins situated
on a small ridge, which affords a panoramic view
of the surrounding tundra and Bay. Guests
are able to enjoy this scenery either from the cabin
porch or from our recently renovated dining facility.
In 2001, we enlarged the main lodge to offer a spacious
dining room with huge picture windows from which
to enjoy the view.
The main lodge is designed for the comfort of our
customers. This is the hub of the operation with
the kitchen & dining area housed here.
An oil stove is available to take the chill off
in the cool mornings. An out-of-the-way generator
supplies electricity & lighting for the main
lodge and cabins. A full breakfast and dinner
is served daily in the lodge dining room and our
guests have the choice of a shore lunch or packed
lunch. Three shower rooms with plenty of hot
water are situated in the main lodge and are available
anytime. Located in the main lodge is our
supplies store where you may purchase a variety
of provisions, including fishing licenses, tackle,
pop, beer, and logo clothing apparel. The
lodge is open to guests at any time for a late night
card game or to swap stories about that trophy fish.
